My Portfolio

For the past several years, I have specialized in creating minimum viable products to float startups as well as established businesses in new and existing product ventures! My main platform of choice is Meteor because it makes development and maintenance extremely cost effective when prototyping products. We also heavily use NodeJS and express to craft simple and easy API experiences for our clients and their developer networks. Though, I also develop solutions in PHP, Java, C, C++ and C#.NET as the needs dictate.

Here is a glimpse at some of the work I’ve done!

Tech: Mandrill, SparkPost, SendGrid, Express, NodeJS, PHP, MySQL, Stripe, MongoDB, CSS3

CartHero snaps into the leading eCommerce platforms and makes it a snap to send behavioral emails to customers. Whether its an abandoned cart, cross sells or upsells, CartHero is able to target customers’ buying habits and send them tailored emails to both recover lost revenue and generate new revenue.

Tech: Meteor, MongoDB, Foundation

DaggerTime is an internal tool used at DaggerBros to track their designers’ usage of hours across multiple client projects. This system gives management (and the developers and designers themselves) a visualization of their time spread across multiple projects and allows them to better estimate commitments with clients! The client had already designed the UI mockups in foundation with CSS3, so we implemented the rest of the project using the Meteor platform.

StackSniper is a lead generation tool designed for internal use that mines through millions of websites and extracts information about the technology they’re using as well as their contact information to serve as a lead source. This tool has been invaluable at generating leads for our WordPress and eCommerce plugins!

Tech: AWS EC2/ELB, Meteor, MongoDB, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, CSS3

Optigo Networks contracted me to design and develop a customer support tool responsible for examining large packet captures of data from their line of smart home devices when customers called in. Meteor was a perfect candidate for this project and the real time updates made it much simpler for customer service representatives to dig into issues when customers would call. Overall, the customer satisfaction ratio rose as a result of reduced wait and troubleshooting times!

Subcast is an email remarketing solution targeted to SaaS providers. It allows them to create custom email sequences for users who do not complete their signups or onboarding. We track activity by serving a small JavaScript snippet that communicates back to a PHP driven API. The email queues are managed by a job server that is backed by Redis and sent via a third party email service through an API.

Tech: The application is in NodeJS while the API is served via PHP and Laravel. MongoDB is used for storage. Other front-end technologies used were: Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS, and CSS3.

Chatr is a mobile and web application designed to index the meeting audio contents of your meetings. It allows you to annotate certain segments of your meeting and share notes and attachments. It had integrations with Slack, Dropbox, Box, Amazon S3 and Google Drive for sharing information. One experimental feature that I developed as a part of this was the ability to automatically detect and segment unique speakers in the audio stream. This was done using clusters of high end graphics cards to process hours of audio data in mere seconds.

Tech: The web application was in PHP, the front-end featured Bootstrap, jQuery and Angular, the backend service layer was in Python, and the audio processing was in CUDA and C.

I’ve got a lot more work to be added and we’re doing more and more every day! If you have a project that needs a facelift or want to take your business idea to the next level, feel free to contact us!
